Introductory Post: Hello to a Readership of Zero

A little rundown on this blog and what it will be like.

First off let me introduce myself. My name is Marc Peters and I’m a recent graduate of Syracuse University. For the past year I’ve been working on a memoir manuscript about my experiences with bipolar disorder and in particular a psychotic episode I had freshmen year that landed me in a mental hospital.

For the past 15 months I’ve been the Students.BarackObama.com blog director and was restricted from maintaining a personal blog. However, I’ve recently handed those responsibilites off and am going to use this blog to muse on the day-to-day realities of living with bipolar disorder. I may post drafts of segments of my memoir. I may rant and rave about news coverage of mental illness. I may just simply reflect on the day, but I will post something at least five times a week.
